LiPOC
About the study:
Working with King's College London, we are bringing Point of Care testing for lithium to CNTW NHS Foundation Trust. This study will test whether it is feasible to monitor lithium levels using a simple finger-prick blood sample, called Point of Care testing (POC).
- The primary objective is to establish whether POC testing is feasible by assessing recruitment, attrition rates, adherence, acceptability, and indications of confirmation bias.
- Participants will be randomised to either point-of-care monitoring or usual monitoring. They will be followed up at three research visits over a 30-week period to explore their experiences of monitoring
