The Road to Ventoux - Part 24
Bike packed…..
The Ventoux3 challenge is raising money for the Out of the Blues charity at https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/outoftheblues.
It’s starting to get real now. I completed my last training session this morning – a two hour easy ride. Goodness me it was cold, even with full finger gloves and three layers on! It was also a little harder than ideal with the last 6-7 miles into the wind. Once home, preparations for our departure could be in earnest. My bike is now all clean and its chain degreased and sparkling. It was a bit of a squeeze, but it is now safely packed into it’s box along with sundry bits and pieces. Now for packing clothes and other biking bits and pieces, hoping that I won’t be over the baggage weight limit. Then an early night before an early start tomorrow.
Further information about the challenge, and my blogs about my training, can be found at http://outoftheblues.org/news/cat/the-road-to-ventoux.
