NCMD Seminar Series Presents 'Introduction to Olink & portfolio', 'The Olink Reveal Panel' and 'Technical look at the PEA technology and case studies on neurological disorders'
This weeks seminar welcomed three speakers, Philip Little, Katja Jansen and Cali Anderson to deliver talks at this weeks hybrid event.
We first welcomed Philip Little, a Business Development Manager at Olink. Philip has been working in proteomics and genomics products and services for 25 years and joined Olink 2 years ago, he delivered a brilliant talk on the 'Introduction to Olink & portfolio'. Olink is a proteomics company that offers biomarkers and multiplex immunoassay panels. Their products are being used across the university and todays talks discussed how their products can help with biomarker research: whether analysing proteins, focusing on diseases, or creating custom panels.
We then welcomed Katja Jansen to deliver her talk 'The Olink Reveal Panel, Meet the newest addition to the Olink portfolio: Powerful content, simplified workflow, affordable highplex proteomics.' Katja Jansen is a Business Development Manager at Olink, working with biomedical researchers and industry accounts in the UK North, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. She has previously worked with companies such as Illumina and 10X Genomics in UK and European roles, and has joined Olink in 2023, out of passion for proteomics, and continuing her work at companies that are helping to push the boundaries of biomedical research.
We lastly welcomed Cali Anderson who delivered a talk titled 'Technical look at the PEA technology and case studies on neurological disorders'. Cali is a Field Application Scientist and has a background in Cardiovascular Research and is experienced in supporting scientists across proteomics applications.
Many thanks to all three speakers today for delivering such interesting talks!
