NCMD Seventh Annual Mood Disorders Meeting
NCMD is hosting its 7th Annual meeting on Friday 30th September 2022 at the Metro Centre Marriott Hotel, Gateshead. The meeting will discuss treatments, trials and how to manage mood disorders.
NCMD was launched in 2015 as a collaboration between Newcastle University and CNTW Trust with the aim of increasing research into mood disorders, fostering best clinical practice, and supporting related education. In 2021 there was a virtual half day meeting held, it is a great pleasure to now be hosting an in person meeting once again in 2022.
The meeting is aimed at all those interested in mood disorders, including psychiatrists, nurses and pharmacists. The meeting brings together NCMD research activity and clinical practice to provide clinicians with an update on the current use and availability of different treatments.
The focus of the meeting, as ever, is very much on the ‘coal face’ of how to manage patients, providing high quality CPD of relevance to clinicians.
Space is limited and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Lundbeck and LivaNova are kindly supporting the running costs of the day. These companies have had no role in the creation of the program or its content. As a result of their support, the meeting is free to attend though we invide voluntary donations to the Out of the Blues charity that support the research carried out into mood disorders at NCMD. A donation of £30 is suggested.
